The Morgan Girls
Well known throughout the Yukon’s music scene, Selina and Madi are performers in rock bands; Selina with Dead Simple and Madi with Solid Fuel. From Bluesy classic rock songs of the 60’s and 70’s to current hit pop songs these two have a musical repertoire that covers it all.
Black Iron Blossom
Black Iron Blossom is a cabin band, aka the northern equivalent of a garage band. Born in the shadow of Mount Sima, they play original blues and rock songs along with a selection of covers.
Members of Black Iron Blossom are: Aubrey Sicotte on drums, Dan Bouck on bass and vocals, Jean Langlois on the harmonica, Lara Lewis with vocals and keys, and Sam Gallagher on lap steel and vocals.
This five-piece band specializes in traditional and modern Celtic music from Ireland, Scotland and the east coast of Canada. Their music ranges from lively pub songs, high energy reels, polkas, ballads, to the occasional sea shanty. This ensemble’s driving rhythms and tight vocals harmonies are sure to please even the most diverse audience.
Members of Celtic Tyde are: Boyd Campbell as the lead vocals and also on guitar, Ken Taylor with guitar and vocals, Chic Callas on the mandolin, accordion, penny whistle, fiddle and vocals, Keither Clark will be playing as a guest member leading with fiddle, and Jerome McIntyre will be play the bodhran and cajon.
