Yukon Gold Panning Championships

Panners of all skills and ages are invited to join this event that is based on a combination of efficiency and speed. This open competition celebrates Yukon’s heritage as well as the mining industry that still thrives today!

Categories:

• Klondike Classic – 12:15pm – Panners must use a Klondike Pan
• Sourdough Open – 12:35pm – Open to anyone aged 60+
• Cheechako Open – 12:55pm – Beginner category, open to any new adult panner
• International Open – 1:20pm – Open to any experienced panner
• Youth 13-17 – 1:40pm – Open to anyone aged 13-17
• Youth U12 – 2:00pm – Open to anyone aged 12 or under
• Yukon Open – 2:30pm – Open to any experienced panner with a Yukon ID.
