THE AKPIK
An orange coloured berry that is found in
cool temperate regions such as the alpine &
arctic tundra. Akpiks, sometimes referred to
as a “cloud berries”, are a local delicacy and
can be found growing in the wild along the
Dempster and Inuvik-Tuktoyaktuk Highways.
