Michael, originally from
Fort McPherson can often
be found playing the fiddle
weekly during Summer in
Inuvik.
Micheal’s music gives our
local residents an opportu-
nity to dance and jig away.
Micheal thrives on their
energy and continually
inspires each song he plays.

Musician LOUIE GOOSE
Louie’s music career started
at a young age and he still
continues to play often at events
and community concerts.
Influenced by his mother, Louie
has now been playing the guitar
and singing for over 50 years,
his music has touched the
hearts of many residents of the
Mackenzie Delta and visitors
from around the world.
In 2012 Louie won the Life
Achievement Award for his
dedication to music within the
community.

Raquel, originally from the
Philippines helps to run her
family business known as
Combo in Town.
Raquel is inspired by the
support of the people of Inuvik
to cook more. Offering a
delicious noodle or rice combo
of and Fried Chicken, Beef or
Pork, Combo in Town provide a
great take out option for Inuvik
residents.
