NISUTLIN BAY BRIDGE One of only three permanent
steel bridges on the Alaska Highway built by the US Army
Corps of Engineers. It was the second highest bridge on
the highway and was completed in 1944 for $1,200,000.
A new bridge under construction and is scheduled to be
completed in 2026 at a cost of $160 million.
