GREY MOUNTAIN SUMMIT TRAIL
A favourite spot for residents to take their out
of town guests and families!
Whether you are at the trailhead (the parking
lot) of the Grey Mountain Summit Trail or
further along, it will become very clear why
the term Wilderness City is used to describe
Whitehorse.
The adventurer will be treated to 3600 views
that dwarf the city below as well as the
surrounding forests, lakes, and rivers.
The 4.6 km single track trail is rated moderate
for hikers and advanced for cyclists as there
are several steep and craggy sections. That
said, know your limits and be attentive.
A vehicle capable of handling rough roads is
highly recommended to drive to the trailhead.
Otherwise, the road is walkable, and there are
alternate trails along the way.
Respect the land and others using it.
If you pack it in, pack it out!
