Join us in a celebration of diversity, sport and Circumpolar friendship.
The Games will be hosted in and around Whitehorse, at both indoor and outdoor venues, so there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer.
Who Can Volunteer? We welcome all potential volunteers who reside outside of the Yukon! Youth, adults and seniors can join us. For youth, the minimum age is 13 years of age as of January 1, 2026.
What’s in it for you? Meeting new people, sharing your skills and talents, learning new skills, being part of a circumpolar sporting event, Volunteer Games Wear, pin and thank- you event!

Outside of sport development opportuni- ties, the Arctic Winter Games also offer residents in the Circumpolar North a chance for cultural exchange and social interaction. Cultural programming at the AWG includes participants from all con- tingents who come together to learn from one another and demonstrate their unique artistic talents.
