Polar Pack Arctic Adventuers are an Inuvialuit owned and
operated family business, run by locals Enoch and Amanda
Pokiak, based in Inuvik in the Western Arctic region.
They offer boat tours on the Mackenzie River to the
community of Tuktoyaktuk by the Arctic Ocean. Other ad-
ventures offered are boating tours of the pingos, the Pingo
National Landmark, and day fishing tours, which are catch
and release.
If boating is not your style, they also offer a driving tour on
the Inuvik–Tuktoyaktuk Highway. The only road in Canada
that leads to the Arctic Ocean!
We operate boat tours from the 3rd week in June to the
end of September. Mackenzie River tour. Tour to Reindeer
Station and Sandy Hills.
Also to the Pingo National Landmark for a traditional picnic lunch at the bottom of a Pingo
and then onto the Hamlet of Tuk for a tour and souvenir shopping.
We operate in the winter offering Northern Lights tours on the ice road or from the ITH.
We offer big game hunts in month of April. Wolverine and Grizzly Bear hunts.
We also can create a tour to your liking and meet requests as per booking.
