Half Day, Full Day & Multi-Day
Tundra North Travel is an Inuit company based in Inuvik, Northwest Territories that was established
with the dream of being able to share our love of the Arctic and all it has to offer with visitors from
around the world. It is our mission to provide visitors with an authentic experience of the unique
atmosphere and culture of our home in Canada’s North. We aim to give you an experience of a
lifetime!
We are happy to accommodate your needs whether it is a tour of Inuvik, Tuktoyaktuk or a drive
down the famous Dempster Highway to the Arctic Circle. If we do not have it listed, we are happy to
provide you with a custom tour that suits your group’s custom needs. We also have experience
showing film crews the way of the lands.
Visit us at our authentic Arctic Village, where we live in harmony with nature by combining
traditional values and practices with today’s technology. Experience the revitalization of our culture
and learn about cabin building, harvesting and food processing which allows us to live as close to
nature as possible. In winter, you can build your own igloo to spend the night in, enjoy the northern
lights dancing in the night sky, sit around the fire and listen to traditional stories and so much more.
Kylik Kisoun Taylor, the owner and operator of Tundra North Travel grew up in small town Ontario.
When he was 16, he decided to make his way back to Inuvik and reconnect with his family roots.
The Kisoun/Allen family was one of the first families to move into Inuvik from the land and played an
important role in the development of the community. Now, Kylik uses the knowledge, skills, and
culture he learned on return to his family and land within his business to create an avenue where
culture is fostered to both learn and share traditions, language, and traditional skills.
