MILLENNIUM TRAIL
Conveniently located in Downtown and
Riverdale, the paved (non-motorized) 5 km
loop follows the Yukon River’s edge. Various
trail access points are ideal for managing
your time and a great way to focus on
specific attractions, e.g.: The S.S. Klondike,
the eagle’s nest or the Yukon Energy Dam.

VIEWPOINT TRAIL
Behold Schwatka Lake! From various
heights along this trail one can take in the
magnificent reservoir created in the 1950s
to provide electrical power. Not only a
major hydroelectric resource, the lake and
surroundings are a popular staging area
for numerous recreational activities.
