Cynthia’s Bed and Breakfast is an
Inuvialuit owned company based in
Inuvik. It is not only a Bed and
Breakfast but also a brand-new tour
operator in town!
We run 2 Bed and Breakfast locations
in town, one on the quiet end of
main street and the other one at
walking distance from the downtown
section of our community.
We offer day tours to Tuktoyaktuk and we will also offer day trips to our camp in the delta where
we will give you a chance to experience what it takes to complete and take-home Fish Scale Art.
We will travel to our camp and you will be able to see what it takes to set a net, scale a fish,
make dry fish or fish patties for our meal, dye the scales and finish off with a canvas board
designed with fish scales. Other exciting plans in this area is setting a rabbit snare/muskrat trap,
work with skinning the pelt and preparing the meat for our meals then their end result will be a
fur item either mitts or smaller projects with fur depending on your interests.
