Main Street is also an open air gallery. Along the sidewalks you will find public art that celebrates Yukon stories, including busts of writers like Jack London, Robert Service, Pierre Berton, and Martha Black, as well as the “Prospector and his Dog” sculpture and other pieces featured on local public art maps.
From Main Street it is only a short walk to the Yukon Visitor Information Centre and the riverfront trail, so you can easily combine shopping, coffee, and a stroll by the water in a single outing.
